Stock E&L M170, full stroke but just swapped the piston with a zci 14t one. The E&L piston is still in fantastic shape, but with the increased ROF I'm afraid it won't last long.
Haven't fired it yet because it's quite late, tomorrow I'll do a quick rps/consistency test and off we go for Sunday's game, maybe a new spring if the power is on the low side, albeit the air seal is bang on.
As long as it runs smooth at 20ish rps I'm happy
I'm moving away from 11.1 batteries, apart from the pdw that needs them because the 22tpa zci motor is kinda slow (I get 16 rps on a 7.4 and 24 on a 11.1).
The only thing it needs now is an optical mosfet and a proper sling
the e&l stock pistons i reckon are pretty good, although built for russian fps limits, certainly stock on 11.1v they don't last long after a "1j" (read any spring the shop had under 1j) downgrade.
must admit i'm moving mostly from 11.1 myself, the jg still uses them (think scorpion evo internals with a massive short-stroke) but the akm is 7.4 and the new e&l krink is probably gonna be 7.4 as well.
sling wise, i'm still a sucker for the surplus russian slings, non-adjustable but simple and effective.
you gonna go for the perun or a titan? be curious to know how the new perun compares, i'm aiming for a titan in the new build but as much of that is inertia for a known brand as anything else.
Well, having both products (for v2 boxes), I don't really know.
My v2 Perun doesn't seem to be as precise as the titan in reading the trigger (in binary the Perun skips some "shots" while the titan is bang on, I blame it on the golden MAXX trigger being too shiny), but cost is a factor and I don't think I'm ready to spend another €150 for a v3 advanced on a gun I honestly don't run every single Sunday.
I was considering another helikon padded two point, I know it won't look as cool as a proper surplus sling, but I like things to be comfortable and that sling, for the price, is great.
Was also thinking about the CU unit, but the stock e&l seals well and gives me plenty of adjustment options to lift whatever bbs I'm running (0.30s require about than a third of the useable slider travel).
I am seriously impressed by the build quality of this gun, it has a few niggles but for the price you can't really complain, especially when you consider the price of a LCT and the quality control issues they have.
