Anyone recommend Extreme Airsoft

Best to buy in person if they have what you want in their physcial store and not at their "supplier" which seems to be anything that is not an M4 or whatever else sells daily. There are several stories here on thread about them not shipping out, misleading etc. I bought 3 times with shipping couple of years ago and it was fine on all occasions.

Avoid like the plague!
Bought two rifs from them over the years both arrived broken. First one I managed to fix myself. The second one had a fault with the gearbox was double firing on semi auto.
Sent it back to them waited 2 or 3 weeks heard nothing back I then contacted them for them to turn around and say there’s nothing wrong with it.
Low and behold when when I got my gun back it had the same issue

I've used them a few times without any problems but I know others have had problems with reported stock levels and getting things shipped in a timely manner. I get the impression ordering from them either goes really well or is an absolute nightmare with nothing in-between

I've used them a few times, my only real gripe with them is they sold me a 'new' L85A3 that had clearly been a return, they've made a couple of mistakes with my orders that I benefitted from in the past but I'd happily buy from them if they have what I want.

Bought from them before with no issues, but it seems they do a lot of drop shipping. Ok if you don't mind the wait.

That's the thing. With so many people's feedback here and on other platforms, the consensus is that the lead times they give are too optimistic a lot of the time.
Unless it's urgent, I don't think people necessarily mind waiting a week or two for a drop-shipped item if they hold to it. It comes across as dishonest when they say an item needs to be back ordered and it will take 3 or 4 days only for it to run into weeks.
[CAVEAT: I'm only using an example, not plugging.] Patrol Base is at least more transparent and says if an item is out of stock in its Yorkshire warehouse, their supply on the continent will take much longer than normal to ship from.

I've used them before in the past with mostly no issues, this one time they had an item out of stock (some 30rd shotgun shells for a GE M870 I was itching to field that weekend) but the owner called the same day to see if I wanted to wait, swap or refund. Not ideal because by then it had passed the cut off point for next day delivery that I was banking on, but thats better than being left in the dark I suppose. However the few RIFs I've bought from them over the years have been fine.
They've overhauled their website this last month or so and apparently the way it shows stock has been altered - it should now show whether they have it in stock or whether it'll be on order from their supplier.
