It's my first AEG's 20th birthday today... well I can't remember exactly what day I bought it on tbh, but it was a couple of months or so before the VCRA kicked in so I'm just going with it.

He's styled in various popular fashions of that era.

1. Its very long
2. Its very heavy
3. Its very noisey
4. Its very heavy, again
5. The Range wasn't long enough for it!!

Internals are standard out the box. Ive got my eye on a few bits from the HRC on discord, but they will be a while yet

Externally, Sphur mount from ali. Victoptics S4 4-16x44 scope that's too big but looks the part. Silencer is the VFC correct one. Small hand stop I run on all my guns

Those scopes are so nice and such good value.

4-16x44 on a .308 platform is definitely not too big!

I have a 4-24x50mm scope on my Tanakas, a 3-18x50mm scope on my m14, a 3-15x50mm scope on my Kar98k, and a 4-16x44mm scope on my mk12

They're incredibly useful for reconnaissance and PID. I'm frequently the one calling out enemy movements to my team (who then never listen because why would people listen at a skirmish day?)

I killed the Mk18 RIP!!

Replaced with a Specna Prime 416. Love the chaos bronze on these!!

Initial impressions are strong. My Mk18 was a Specna edge. This is a clear upgrade, the internals are fully upgraded from the factory. It has an Aster out of the box (unlike my edge which had an X-ASR) and the brushless motor is very very snappy.

I gave the barrel a good clean and threw in a Prometheus purple bucking and kept the flat hop nub.

Looking forward to seeing how she is on the field
