Doesn't seem to be much info on it right now but they released these images yesterday on thier Facebook.

Going by one of SBAs reply similar price to the TAC41A so £300-400ish.

Ngl I kinda like it reminds me of the HTI

There's a fair bit of info out but you have to go hunting for it. Silverback released the manual for it a few weeks back, so looking at the breakdown of the system it appears to essentially a straight pull SRS with a 350mm barrel. Same SRS piston etc, just a different body. 63 BB's per mag, comes with options of either a full size or half size suppressor. Interestingly it will available in both spring and HPA too.

Prices will probably be closer to the SRS. I imagine most players will be ditching the suppressor anyway.

As for HPA that's gonna be the entire Silverback range soon - HPA versions available for all spring rifles and their AEGs.

I only just got a Tac41P so I didn't want to read into it too much; otherwise, I would get hit by the Airsoft Addiction and buy it lol when it releases in September.

I really wanted an SBA HTI a while back, but they are hard to come by now since they discontinued them and lets face it very impractical for actual games lol just like M82s.

The inner barrel cuts off exactly at the thread for the suppressor so it doesn't have to be run like the massive HTI. Plus this can be ran right or left handed which will be handy for some people, saves chasing down a left-handed SRS if you wanted a bullpup lol.

Pre-order at Longbow just went live... From £440 depending on which options you choose.

So as far as I can tell, it’s an srs in a Russian uniform ? Does look one hell of a beast

I assume as these start rolling out we’re going to see a lot of bare bones srs’s out there for sale.

That bolt pull is smooth for a 2j spring. Not a big fan of pinching the bolt handle parts together before pulling it back. I'd imagine a simple 3D print will fit over it and keep all the parts together and act as a bolt handle.

Or use an elastic band or child's hair bobble if you're a cheapskate like me 😁
You could potentially drill a small hole through all 3 parts when it's compressed and then push a pin through to keep it permanently compressed. I imagine it's to try and stop the bolt from being accidentally pulled back, feeding multiple bbs since it seems to be a very easy pull. Camman pulled it with one finger with a rapax 2J+ in it.

I think I will stick to my TAC41 for now. I just spent alot on upgrading it, and the classic bolt action is more my preferred style, but this is definitely on my list to get somewhen in the future.

Looking closer at this, it's a shame they didn't do a 1:1 replica of the real VKS. There's quite a few little details wrong that would bother me, as a stitch counter (So @ButcherBill would say 😂)
It would have been amazing for rusfor larpers to have a more accessible VKS 😔

The hunt continues for an NPO one...

Care to list the issues? I'm curious as to what's wrong.

I'm assuming that was meant as a reply to me? If so,

  1. The top rail shouldn't be the full length of the rifle
  2. There should be three larger vent holes instead of four smaller/thinner ones
  3. The selector lever is too small
  4. The trigger guard is the wrong shape
  5. The replica itself is too tall
  6. There shouldn't be rails on the sides/bottom (Acceptable on the side as there's photos of modified ones)
  7. The handguard shape is wrong and missing the cut out at the front where the bipod would/should be located
  8. It's missing the front and rear iron sight
  9. The bolt should only be right sided
Like I said, minor details with function being chosen over form which is fair enough
