The 'What have you just bought' Thread

Couple of things i've not posted here yet despite being bought a while ago:

1. Another A&K Masada/ACR. Came complete and actually functional. Only downside was the green two-tone on the handguard. The green paint proved insanely difficult to remove and was applied super thick and had worked its way deep into the polymer. In the end I had to admit defeat and paint the handguard. Will be keeping an eye out for another handguard that fits the A&K version of the rifle.

2. After (almost) getting scammed for a Cybergun MCX a couple of years ago, I was thrilled to find a VFC MCX Legacy for sale, especially happy as it's the legacy keymod version - I prefer this over the newer Mlok versions. Annoyingly half of the charging handle arrived broken (thanks Parcelforce) and the seller was an absolute gent for keeping me updated with their struggle against PF/RM - rather than waiting on a solution, they refunded me the cost of the charging handle. Now I just need to find either some keymod to RIS rail or keymod attachments.

3. An older boneyard Tokyo Marui AEG - now repaired and working. Painted the lower receiver, stock and pistol grip so it resembles a COD:MW2 (2009 era) M4A1. Currently missing a pin that goes through the receiver and gearbox, mock bolt catch, front (handguard) sling loop and charging handle - I have no idea what charging handle this should take. If anyone has an idea, please let me know. Here's a picture of the space where it should go.

Just got my Northeast FAMAS GBB. Have heard a lot of complaints for the first a few batches so waited till today since the release, fortunately did the right choice. It's a very well and solidly built gun with all the attention to details from the real steel counterpart, even the weight is identical. Only downside so far is the modifiability being so limited as a cold war era gun

I've got some tri rails floating about for the FAMAS. It's the same one as in the picture of me with a FAMAS in Afghan and it includes the side rails as well. Let me know if you are interested and I'll dig one out and share some pictures. I might have a top rail somewhere as well but can't remember if I shifted them or not.

That's so impressive. Thanks!

This little beauty arrived just as I got home from work...

Not as heavy as I'd expected & it's got a lovely finish to it, I did consider popping a spare Magpul ctr stock on it but it's too light an fde for the rif. The handguard is quite sharp so some rail covers will be sought once payday hits (prob some other accessories too).

p.s. have some fillet steaks too for Feb 21st (national Steak & Blowjob day).

Who's the lucky bloke 😜

Mosin M44 in the post today, I traded it for the shell ejecting m870.
I was adamant I was going to get something practical.

It doesn't shell eject so it's a step in the right direction.
