    I use Nuprol 1.0 duster gas, it is the same power as the recommended abbey 144a gas but it has a longer nozzle that fits the FNX without an adapter. Lots of people use green gas with no issues in the FNX too and the majority of those nozzles reach the valve too (ASG ultra air and WE Green Gas too).

    Umarex 416A5 magazines

    I find that most mags are a little wobbly. I have use both the PTS EPM as well as the EPM1. Both wobble but are secure and work well. The krytac mid caps are very snug and have a nice window that show when you are low. Lonex polymer mid caps are similar to the epm mags but less wobble.

    For this price anything is possible. I have a few higher end pews but I would recommend the ASG scorpion evo... or the NGRS (m4 beats out the aks and the scars imo).

    Gas mags and pistols

    It only causes damage if the mag is fully loaded with bbs to the point where the spring is fully conpressed. As long as there is a one or two BBs of compression left it is a ok to insert the mag with the slide forward.

    Tis a sad day all.... My 416a5 had a critical mission failure today. The "wings" on the spring guide failed... (see the pic). It looks like a simple fid and I dont need to even remove and dismantle the gearbox. HOWEVER... I can only find one of the two wings...

    That sucks big time. Looked closely over the rifle seems good externally. The hop wheel is a toothed semi circle where tiny adjustments make a big difference.

    No, we were at our usual outdoor site (don't want to name them as they are great and this seems to be a bit of an unusual situation). I do think ammo needs to be checked as personally at multiple sites I have never actually seen a proper off the cuff chrono taking place.
