    Cringe in Airsoft

Between the eyes. But she would take out a small target down in that region.

    Cringe in Airsoft

A team mate brought back target images from his trip to Vegas, and I mounted them onto boards with laminate covers for a CQB experience day My primary analysis of the shot groupings on the targets is to not mess with his missus She won’t be needing to fire twice

HPA Tank and Regulator noob advice

Personally I wouldn’t leave it on, as it keeps the cylinders regulators open and the onward regulator pressured But concede to Airsoft air people

HPA Tank and Regulator noob advice

I’m in the big city today, and will have a few things going on this week prepping for the weekend…… so will be light on my presence But always happy to give helpful advice on air / be highly opinionated on air safety If you search about my posts for HPA1 and there will be air safety...

    Any Home Compressor Recommendations?

I was always wary when these kinds of things first came out at “budget” prices, and would always push home fills towards stirrup pumps (less to go wrong). (The only one I would endorse back then was the Tom Kaye Shoebox which was actually a booster to be used with “workshop” compressors)...

HPA Tank and Regulator noob advice

I don’t know about Airsoft efficiency but surely 140 shots on half of a 48ci isn’t good First check the fill is a full fill I’m assuming it’s a 48ci aluminium 3000psi That kind of setup should not get hot on a fill station - but a fast fill, especially if it was from empty, can get hot and...

    Painted gun case

This might now be the wrong time to show a couple of examples of my ‘painting skills’ Take them as proof of my “do as I say, not as I do credentials” Bright yellow / lime goggles, based on a cheap discounted frame colour to be a marshalling / photographer set (When thinking of them I was being...

    Painted gun case

I’ve just had a second thought about the masking question…… My earlier response was about masking areas that you don’t want to paint, therefore that mask should ideally remain until finished But my second thought is about masking the pattern. For different patterns there can be the need to...

    Painted gun case

I would just leave masking on throughout If you remove it then replace it for another layer then you wouldn’t get it precisely in the same position, so for example the second mask could end up keeping a base layer

    Painted gun case

Need is a matter of opinion Painting is always a matter of results matching the preparation See what the paints recommend, but in theory ensuring the panels are clean/degreased and roughened could be enough But a base layer is never wasted, whether that’s a formal primer or just a first layer...

Purchasing RIF directly from King Arms site?

Bear in mind that when it hits customs you are the “importer” That renders you fully responsible - Is the one that arrives UK legal? (Within UK power limits) Are you permitted to import ? (Valid VCRA defence … there are other defences available but UKARA is the commonly recognised one, and as...

    Custom Warhammer Armoury Crate

@Arrakis As @Lozart has noted, Games Workshop are known for their protection of intellectual Property, and you have used their logo You don’t go from niche hobby manufacturer to global brand without protecting yourself That’s generally fair enough as a personal build, but as soon as you go...

    how’s the paint job?

There was an official British Army weapons painting guide in the Afghanistan era, which went through a “keep it simple” guide, and as its was intended to stop soldiers screwing up their weapons it stressed good masking and not overdoing layers to avoid more problems later when removing the paint...
