  • As an avid DE falconfire enjoyer myself I was amiss to find out that it was playing up on today's gameday - I assumed it was the rain causing issues as it always does with mosfets but after getting home it's doing the dreaded beep-beep and the only mention I could find online was your thread/post from a few years ago:

Am I fucked? I only just about got this thing shooting nice too ?

    Hi @pyromancer6
Sorry, I used to live on these forums, but now I'm not playing (due to knee issues) and I've been busy with work, I'm rarely here.
Your video - I don't get it - it looks/sounds great to me... is that the 'before'?

If it's beeping and won't fire again, then the Falcon has fallen to earth :(    I can't remember the beep pattern of mine, but it matched what was in the manual as an 'error' indicator.

Tricky to source a new one, DE themselves weren't interested in helping, which was very disappointing, hence my delight at finding someone selling a couple here.   And buying a whole donor gun.

    Good luck!

Nah, it's the after - it's firing bursts on semi and on auto it lets off like 4-7 rounds and does a double beep which is a 'module error' according to DE - the only mention online I could find was your old thread which is why I shot a message ?, appreciate the info!

Off to Special Ops CQB "The Fireplace" tomorrow.   Full day to give my new tracer unit a good run out :)    Anyone else coming along?

Chuffed to see a couple of L85s appear in the Action Hobbies boneyard tonight, at prices that made me want to break out the old credit card...

Gutted when attempts to purchase either of 'em failed within 4 minutes of them appearing, as someone else beat my to the punch.   ARGGGGGHHHHHH.

    Borked in what way?

Ah, my ICS L85 was bought in 'wall hanger' condition, I've got the motor to turn over but tbh I've never tried too hard to sort it

My Cybergun F2000 was bought as a project gun, so I changed the motor and added a MOSFET, but couldn't get it to shoot properly.  I've had stripped pistons, misfeeds, but now the gun locks up after a few bursts on full auto (but it's a great until that happens!). I've meddled with the insides but can't fix it.

I learned pretty quickly that I'm no tech, currently have 5 rif's away to get fixed or downgraded (1 is a L85A1).

Action Hobbies bunged some boneyard stuff on their site last night, but I missed the post on Facebook and didn't check the site like I usually do, so only found out this morning.
Now what really grinds my gears is that the FB post showed an MP5, and if there was anything I wanted to pick up from AH, it's a bleedin' bloody MP5, and I missed it :(

So please, just to rub salt into the wound, what exactly did I miss out on last night?

Think it was an ICS A4 model.

I managed to pick up an Olight PL2 for £40

If anyone needs one, Bullseye have the Cyma M14 scope mount in stock at the sensible price of £12

Wow, nice find! I don't need one, as I already have two TM ones, but with how expensive TM ones are now that's a great find!
