    Bb trap

Definitely leaning towards bags of sand as the safest thing and maybe a down-angled paving slab above. I won't be doing that much shooting, so a few holes in the bags and a bit of sand on the ground won't really be an issue. The important thing is stopping ricochets.

    Bb trap

That mop-head strategy is really good - I might well emulate that for an indoor trap. My own garden backstop was built out of a wooden pallet. I used old cardboard cat scratcher pads as the main BB catcher (great if you don't keep hitting the exact same spot) and strips of yoga mat and camo...

Which GBB pistol is most accurate?

An upvote for the DOR HiCapa, a faithful companion in a lot of games, got a few hits with it, very reliable and as accurate as I could have hoped.

Would you cancel in bad weather?

I've had some poor times out in the rain... but maybe I just haven't done it often enough to get the hang of the workarounds. Main problems I had were fogging and/or enough rain the lenses to just plain not being able to see what was going on - so you get to the frontline only to get zapped by...

    New Well Pro KS-1 AEG?

30 RPS is definitely in wanker territory, but it'd make for a snappy semi rifle for CQB

    A speedloader that isn't shit

A -1 from me on the Bigfoot speedloader, my experience with it is it takes a million plunge hits to force 50 bb's into a mag, it just doesn't seem to feed consistently well, it feels really gritty and unpleasant. But maybe it's the nature of the beast. So I'm definitely in the market for a...

Old original G&G L85a2 - What can be done to it?

Don't they enjoy smashing each other with birch branches for fun and health over there 😋 Honestly I don't think I could take the pain of a close up . 25g BB at that power. I would be crying for mummy

The 'What have you just bought' Thread

Ok, I'm a bit tardy on this, as I bought the gat a week or two ago, but I've got myself a TM Tactical M9 which is something I've had an itch for, for a while... (Lighting / my camera work not doing it any favours, it's very clean looking, honest!) It came from Action Hobbies' boneyard with...

Double Eagle M906C - Internal upgrades / tinkering

No, the classic army one is all I've got in terms of V2 gearboxes.  I'm aware my motor does get very hot when spamming single shot, so the temptation to go big with the replacement is quite strong.  But if it could just be the etu messing with me... Then maybe I'll go shopping - can you let me...

Double Eagle M906C - Internal upgrades / tinkering

Hi chaps. Well, I've successfully negotiated an afternoon at Special Ops 'The Fireplace' which was great fun.  My MP5 ran like a champ (thanks again @CallumT20) but I have a hankering to get my DE 906C back in the game.   Unfortunately, as previously noted, the Falcon MOSFET is dying again. ...

    Converting from mini-Tamiya to Deans...

Success!   The beast is ALIVE cheers all :)   (I'll add a couple of pics here) Indeed.  Being a fan of the gun in the Battlefield games etc, I had to get one of these stubby AKs eventually.   This one has the 'interesting' customised paintwork.  I knew I wouldn't mind an excuse to...

    Converting from mini-Tamiya to Deans...

Well I suppose I could :D    But often cabling space is at a bit of a premium (and it is a bit in this case) so I prefer to make it all 'go native' Cheers guys - thanks 👍

    Converting from mini-Tamiya to Deans...

Hi ho!    Well it's been a while but I'm expecting to go to a skirmish or CQB session for :checks notes: the second time this year, I think. And to celebrate this I went a bit bonkers and bought another gnu.  Yay!    I couldn't resist a nice little Cyma AK74SU that the previous owner...
