The long 48hrs before I can clearcoat. Agonizing.

Rust is only a problem if it stays damp.

    T238 mini loader

Looking at the comments on the Stupid Airsoft vid, T238 have responded and are addressing some of the issues but also suggested pinching the petals of the feed tube together with pliers as a temporary fix. I'm still not sold on it, but at least the manufacturer is actively responding to feedback.

    Compression shirts in airsoft

What sort of size are you, and what's your budget? Quite a lot of the Chinese brands tend to work in "Asian" sizes, so their idea of XL is NOT what I would call an XL! If you want cheap and are happy with MTP then as mentioned above, Army surplus is the way to go. If you want literally anything...

    Compression shirts in airsoft

Compression shirts are to help stimulate blood flow and aid in recovery. People wearing them in the gym are either misinformed or just want to show off how they look. Yes, they can help prevent chafing, but if you're looking to wear one to help you keep cool then you're looking at the wrong...

En166b goggles for anti fog unit

Any goggles you buy will need to be modified to some extent to work with an anti-fog unit, so none of them/all of them are compatible. I assume you mean the V2G Plus, though, as the V2G is a pair of glasses with a headstrap. If you're happy with the Pyramex ones, just get those. Otherwise I'd...

Air ratio question for a DMR

I think, realistically, I need to be looking at using something more like a 0.32 or 0.36. The M14 has nowhere near enough swept volume in the cylinder to get to 2.67:1 without dropping to such a short barrel it becomes silly.

Air ratio question for a DMR

Yes, it's a DMR. My regular site allows DMRs to be electronically locked and can be up to 1.65j (425fps on a 0.2). Is that a legal grey area because it's relatively simple to make it fire full auto? Yes. Is it ever likely to be an issue? No. I don't wave my RIFs about in public, so 5-0 has no...

Air ratio question for a DMR

Initial tests using an M130 spring and 0.28's I'm seeing around 1.4J. to get up to around 1.6 I'd be looking at least an M140 but anything more than that and I'd be worried about the gearbox shitting itself. And no, I'm not going to HPA it.

Air ratio question for a DMR

I'm building a DMR from an M14. It has a 500mm long, 6.03 mm diameter inner barrel. It's a full cylinder with standard gears and no short stroking. By my estimate, that should give me an air volume ratio of about 1.68:1 (cylinder is 65 mm internally to the back of the cylinder head, less 8mm...

    Clone SF M951 fat/flat body

In fact if you take a look here: https://clonerifles.com/m4a1blocki/ there's actually a few different lights you could get and still be "clone correct" (M600 Scout lights are easy to get clones of)

    Clone SF M951 fat/flat body

There's plenty of thin-body 951 clones around. The 961 isn't any closer to the fat body IMO.

    Clone SF M951 fat/flat body

I know, right? It's like - is this going to be a CQBR or a MK18 Mod 0? Almost identical....but not quite. If I ever manage to find a C7 upper, I'll be rebuilding my Gordy clone but making the decision to go IRL clone of BHD clone was one step - realising that not only was the sight hard to...

    Clone SF M951 fat/flat body

I've been down this very rabbit hole and it appears that no, there aren't any replica fat body models
