    The recent heat wave and Marui plastic pistol slides

    TM 1911are pretty sturdy. You really have to put a Capa or 1911 to fair amount of abuse and then the slide cracks around the rear sight.In my experience Glocks, PX4 and FNX slides break sooner or later despite the temperature.

    Slide cracked at the rear on my near new 18c earlier this year mid Feb I think so it's not just the hot weather and that's on abbey ultra. Yet my eleven plus years abused Hi Capa refuses to die.
