I think the SSQ4 hpa system was heavily inspired by the frog engineering systems. Who inturn was inspired by Alayan HPA adapters for WE. Frog engineering adapters are made for specific models so the ks-1 adapter is for VFC, though they have a MWS adapter too.

Frog engineering - makes a hpa adapter system with custom mags that keeps its look. Airline routes neatly under the trigger guard and then into and down and out of the pistol grip.
