Will admit that was force of habit being an ex RS Pistol Shooter. However it clears the chamber as when you slam a mag in again it could fire if you have a worn sear or are not very trigger disciplined. Also springers which some do use can fire without mag.

Rule should be when leaving the field of play all mags out of guns and guns cleared. Best site will have a specific bb trap, mag out rack slide ( on pistol ) point into trap and squeeze trigger. Job done, break the rule and get removed from site.

Nice collectors gun, getting a mag will be a chore though. I’ve been looking for one for a Steel Slide equipped Tanaka Glock for years.

They have a bad reputation ( Neg hates em and won’t work on them ), the real also never went into production so demand is probably not that good. Be useful for CQB though, I’d stick it up at maybe 80% and go from there. As Butcher Bill said you can always lower price if no interest.
