  • When upgrading a sniper rifle what piston should you put in? Aspuk, fireflie, Laylax or pdi

Laylax are over rated IMO. Yeah, the quality is good but Action army do the same thing better for a lower price.Action Army's new VSR hop up unit is amazing according to early testers for example, much better than PDi's and Laylax HUs. But anyway, remember to use the stock O ring off your VSR on the laylax piston because the LL one is atrocious.

To be fair the aftermarket hops are known for being not great lol. Laylax is decent hut a little costly for what it is, especially with how quickly the Teflon wears off the cylinders.

Urg hate looking for magazine pouches brand new , wanted to get some esstac kywi pouches (2 triple 1 double and a double pistol) but with my new mags comes to £178.95

Where's a better place for a safariland drop leg or across the chest piece of my rig and also what's a good price for a genuine safariland and waepon light ( can remember the name of it)

Do you mean a light bearing holster or are you thinking of a particular light?

second hand I wouldn't pay more than £50 for a standard safariland light bearing holster (6004), but there's lots of different models which are differently priced.

As for where to put it, that's entirely personal preference. I wear mine on my hip because it's a natural draw for me. Normally when you see guys with pistols on their chests (real world) it's because they're working from vehicles a lot and so can't easily draw from a hip or leg holster.

The Safariland 6004's are quite big beasts too. Not sure that one on the chest wouldn't be a bit unwieldy. What gun is it for?

So I brought the 203 and now am wondering if there's a way to tighten it. I've got the long ris attached one and it's a bit wobbly on my 417 any advice?

generally, put duct tape where it attaches to fill the space and prevent movement.

Ok will give it a go only problem is it will be interchanged between my m4 and 417 but shouldn't be a massive issue

make a tab so you can take it on and off.. or if you do not used the 417 without the ris, put the tape on the 417 ris

What are people's opinions on grenade launchers, I mean I love them and am considering buying one just wanted to know if it's worth the £85 quid which could go else where

Oh? You're not taking your hits? That's okay, I can help with that. See this, this is my noob tube...ALL UP IN YOUR AREA BEEOTCH. <---- This is why launchers are better than sultry virgins...

If you've got the money for one, sure! I'm assuming you're looking at a G&P? Fire-Support have some for £85.

    Aren't Madbull ones like £100+ ?

If you want something a bit cheaper and different, have a look at the S-Thunder grenade launcher pistols? £35 for a basic nylon fibre short model

what price would people ay for a 3rd hand cyma cqbr just want to know as i may be buying one just need to find out decent prices

    TacMaster
    TacMaster
Cyma's good for a project gun, and pretty fun to skirmish. My old MP5 out performed CA, G&G, ICS and other brands of guns when I used it

I bought mine new which I wouldn't recommend but if it's cheap enough then go for it.

My CYMA CQB-R (blackwater version) was about £150 new so I'm thinking maybe £60-£70?

Can anyone recommend a good small plate carrier for a small skinny guy

Thanks I would love a dcs but at 100 odd quid for one don't know if I can justify buying one , the hoc also caught my eye but again they are getting quite common so I'm insure my budget depends on how much I spend I may just buy a dcs tho as they are durable and great manufactured

Im a twig and the MOPC fits perfectly when adjusted and it can also fit my friend who is definitely on the chubby side. He can slide into it once adjusted no problem.

whats the most compatable m4 rifle body?

    Mack

Bear in mind, G&P use Imperial threading on the receivers same as ICS so some rails will need modified to fit

    Lozart
    Lozart
Dytac receiver kits are pretty good, but I found the delta nut thread to be a bit hit and miss and the moulding on some of the small parts (fire selector lever particularly) meant I was forced to use donor parts from the original gun (TM M4A1).

You can always change the barrel and you have a standard HK417!

yer thats a pretty good mess up lol

anybody know if i can replace the nozzel on a gas bottle as my stupid brother snapped it and ive still got atleast half the bottle left

    Lozart
    Lozart
I'd say probably not. You MIGHT be able to use an airbrush gas can adaptor to use the rest of the can, but it'll cost as much as a new can so......

finally decided on getting a hk 417 but where to get it from? think it might be cheaper second hand

can someone please find me a 7.4v lipo with a charger that will charge it and a fire bag. i cant find any anywhere that dont cost an arm and a leg

don't forget to check hobbyking.com too: if ur charger is good, u don't need a fire bag, but u can always use a biscuit/sweety tin - Amazon is about the cheapest place to buy an iMax B6 (which is the best charger/cash @mo) but hobbyking do them cheap too (save P&P)
