mag problems

Hi I have a tm colt 1911 gas blow back pistol when I fill either of my two non leak mags with abbey 144a gas I can fire 3-4 shots then all remaining gas gets released any ideas please many thanks

No I haven't not entirely sure how to clean it

This video shows you how to take the weapon apart, do this with the weapon UNLOADED.

Clean your weapon with a damp (not wet!) piece of cloth on the end of a cleaning rod. Alternatively just use a large match-end or something long and thin to feed some cloth through your barrel. Get rid of all the dust and make sure both on your magazine and weapon (where the gas goes in) there is no large chunks of dust. Make sure all of the gas 'valves' (the bits where the gas goes in and then comes out) are also clean and not blocked.

Load your weapon, fill it with gas and fire a few shots, if this doesn't work then unfortunately I have no clue.

You should clean your weapon every so often anyway.

Try warming the mags up in your pockets first. Could just be the gas is too cold.

I had that issue with my G18 the other day, I put it down to the cold weather! I ends up running it on green gas for the day and it was stunning! I got home, refilled it with 144 and fired off a few shots in my garden and it was fine again.

What I'm pointing at is, is your gas getting cold?
