Hi i am from Southampton and looking to start a indoor site with a small target range, I have liability insurance any ideas on how I can start most places down here have closed or closing

I am not sure about the logistics of starting a site, etc., but I am a local player around Southampton and would be interested in this. I would also be interested in helping out if needed.

Currently, Ambush Activities is the only close site to Southampton, but that's a woodland site. The closest CQB is The Bunker in Portsmouth or Ironsights in Andover, so a CQB spot would be nice for sure.

Have you investigated the reasons for site closures in the area? A new site might be a good or bad idea depending on those reasons.

New build housing sites being put in any gaps they can shove at least 100 houses it feels like.
The old sites like combat souths were all in woodland that's been brought up and the land value is high and access to mains roads for a 2 hour commute to London is becoming increasingly acceptable to most people.

Yep, was trying to go to the gbb event they had in September but couldn't and Shame they've now closed.

Been looking at iron sights in Andover as a possible outdoor cqb site replacement.

Willing to share any details like size, indoor or outdoor? Even area roughly off Southampton?

If you don't already have land with approval for use for Airsoft the likely of it being granted is extremely low

What experience do you have of airsoft in general? I ask as so many people don't realise just how much time and money it takes to set up or run a site. If not get some people onboard who do as they'll be able to point out any potential problems you don't

Do you own the building you want to use? If not then you could easily find yourselves being turfed out if the site is developed
