Decided to get a more traditional Soviet looking scope for my VSS, VictOptics 3-9x SVD scope. Fortunate enough to find it for a reasonable price new.

Something for the summer so I can keep an eye on the chances of my GBB mags now being hot as the temperature increases during the day. Compass is just a bonus so that I can find the safezone which is probably 100 meters away

The compass reminds me of this shot from Bravo Two Zero. If that really happened I'm surprised they didn't get lost

probably fine for a rough bearing while on the move as only steel barrel on a AR would mess with the compass. Still need to stop every so often to take proper bearing.

Nice little trip to the Midlands Airsoft Fair today. Forgotten how grim Newark Showground smells in the summer...
Went without any specific purpose, just out for any bargains. Decent day for it tbf, pretty packed at 10.45 and a chill crowd. Went rummaging through the bargain bins and snagged some gold.
- 3x G&P RPK midcaps for 15 quid. Two missing baseplates, but I've got spares at home so I've just whacked those on.
- Quick restock on .28s for next weekend.
- 4x EmersonGear mag pouches in ranger green/adaptive green. Snagged them for 30 quid the lot on the off chance they fit VFC G36 mags, happy days they do. Chuffed with them.
- Brit issue deployment bag (the huge black ones, fnarrr) in really good condition for a tenner, over the moon there as they're usually more than double that on fleabay. Dude had a huge stack of them, I'm guessing he cleared out stores.
- Partizan snood, not the nicest quality but cheap and cheerful and a pure impulse purchase to go with my gorka.
- Couple of patches, because who doesn't love patches?
- Pair of ranger green PC comms wings for a fiver, absolutely no clue on brand but they were essentially as-new and work absolutely fine
All in all, cracking haul of other people's random odds and sods. Some seriously nice gats on sale, and I *nearly* bought a little light mortar before having a rare attack of sanity. It was only 150 quid, too...

Those deployment bags are great. I got my hands on a couple when the site I work at closed and they're probably the most useful bit of kit I've got for airsoft

Yeah, in hindsight at the price I should have bought two or three more and split my loadouts into a single bag each.
The one I've got is instantly a general life upgrade, it's far more practical holiday luggage than my bergen!

- Fort Defender plate carrier for £120. Been after one for a long time and found it hiding under a table Edit - has soft armor included too

Just be aware when flying that some airlines will make your check them in separately in the outsize luggage section. Not a massive drama and usually at no cost but takes a few minutes extra.

Odd.. I wonder if that's more down to some strange factor like the straps, the zip pockets or the fact they just recognise them, because they're no bigger than my standard roller suitcase that I always check in as my regular hold bag. I store my issued bags inside my civvie suitcase (no folding required).

No you didn’t, You've got what looks like a Well MB04-A OLV Replica and only one I’m aware of is the Well MB04-A Springer. Are you sure its gas? Perhaps the stock has had another mech put in it.
