Hi, my name is Capt. Viper I am looking for players who might want to join the airsoft team I am part of, We are wanting to expand the team to different areas of the UK and get a good sized team going so I have been given the lovely task of starting a Division down here so if you would like to join or have friends and they want to start airsofting as they say more the merrier.

I am based in Manchester and my local site/most frequented is The Mill (Based in Wigan- first and only events) and then a few more dotted around but I am not only looking in the Manchester area I am also looking in North Wales area as well, if you are looking to play with some nice sound people add me on discord (the_blue_viperqt#3862) or PM me. Like I said I'm Capt. Viper I require I minimum of 4 players to start a division like I said before also looking in the North Wales area as well.

If you are under 18 please have a parent contact me as well please, if you are 18 and over then you are fine.

If you do a forum search you’ll see LOTS of discussions about the subject of players or teams asking random strangers to join or form a team with them how it always 100% guaranteed will implode and go to ratshit .

I mean, I've only been playing Airsoft for just over a year but is this an actual thing?

I'm in a separate "Airsoft" WhatsApp group with the few lads from "our lot" what actually play Airsoft, plus a lad from work who I've managed to brainwash into spunking all his money on toy guns.

Apart from that, the most organisation we see is trying to get us all to turn up on the same day, who's driving and which McDonald's were meeting at in the morning!

I'm fully aware people all get something totally different out of the sport / hobby, but didn't quite realise it could become quite so intense as this appears to be!

Not really, no. People have this sort of idea, think they have suddenly joined the ranks of 42 commando and decide it's a competitive sport, while the rest of use watch it fall to pieces in bemusement.

Fortunately it's a small minority of folk who think a team name, rank and callsign that look like they're from a bargain basement CoD, makes them the SF of airsoft. 

Usually they stop when they finish going through puberty

jokes aside good luck but be stringent in accepting people else like it’s been mentioned the team will “go to shit” by scrubs who only wanna cause issues.

No hate from me though.  We're all playing a very silly game with toy guns.  As long as folk are taking their hits - and not pre-firing corners like a sociopath - it's all good.

Just please don't take it too seriously, and please remember that nobody else gives a hoot how much you dominate the field, but we will notice if you're doing it by power-playing and only feeling the fifth hit.

I would love to join, based on my many many years of Airsoft experience I feel I have more than enough credentials to join, also based on the fact I have played cod and battlefield, watched blackhawkdown (and read the book the fantasy fiction that was the movie is based on) feel I am over qualified.

therefore I would demand I have your job and a salary befitting someone who has played hide and seek in the woods with a nerf gun, sorry Airsoft a few times. Also I have plenty of hand signals I could show the squad :D
