A type of tinted glasses used to eliminate eye strain during gaming

After a quick inspection:

The rubber plug is Sea Green (Green with a slight bluish tint.) At the time I discovered it was there, I was wearing gaming eyewear which made the plug look more to the blue side.

could you not just adjust the colour balance on the monitor?

True, and I used to to so for a while, but with today's gaming technology, HDR and all that, some games looked off and I had to readjust. Using glasses seems to work better for me anyways.
