Most Glorious WE makarov

There is meant to be a very small leaf-type spring under that sear bar.

I'll try to take pics if Hamster doesn't beat me to it

Thanks, maybe I did lose something afterall - part 28 I am guessing?

EDIT - And just found the little sod on the carpet - lucky!  Helps to know you are missing a piece thanks Ed.  Now any help on getting it all back together?

i see you've beaten me to the punch here.

getting it together is a bit of a pain, a bit of a tip is don't worry about getting the slide catch in with the trigger unit, with a bit of twiddling you can get it in afterwards.

that spring (28) is a pain, but there is a groove in the bottom of the trigger bar that it sits in quite nicely once you've got it in there.

apart from that all i remember from my last dissassembly is a lot of swearing :P

Going to see if I can gt the pin out for the hop unit before reassembling it - change out the hop rubber and barrel whilst its in bits

Yeah its part 28 I was talkin about.

Its fiddly as fu....

That looks about right (edit) scratch that it should be down at the front, the arm is part of the decocking mechanism, if you push it it should move the striker up out of line with the mag.

Are you pushing from the right or left side? It should be pushed from the left.

Mine was pretty damn stiff when it was new, but as is the nature of pins it wears looser pretty damn quickly if you tinker with the hop as much as i do.

On mine the hop pin comes out right to left so pushing on right side. ?

A note fitting this bar

Make sure it engages the tab at the bottom of its travel.

You'll see if you look inside where it fits in.

From the left if the muzzle is pointed toward you

I think left/right is always considered looking down sights.  ie holding the weapon in the operating orientation.

As said, mine is push from right.

MIne appears to be the same as the hole is bigger.  I think I may have bent the pin as lets face it its not going to be the best quality metal is it? I have it mostly out just need to get some pliers to it

^this, although strange yours goes the other way, mine's very definite as the pin has a roughened end.

it does wear out very quickly, mine almost drops free now. if it gets too bad i'll look into getting a bigger pin for it.

Just the generic maple leaf red one, cant remember how i obtained it.

Does it sit under that small piece of metal they call the hop arm or does it replace it entirely? Part 009 for reference

Just sits underneath, you have to poke it a bit to get it centralised

@Adolf HamsterMajor bumpage.  I have got the hop unit back together and everything is in place but for some reason when I fire the slide lock engages after every shot - any ideas?
