Has anyone ever tried a pirate loadout??

I've recently started collaborating a few bits to make a pirate loadout, not going for full on Jack Sparrow (probably more Blackbeard).

Anyone ever used a KTW flintlock pistol or KTW flintlock carbine?

Any reccomendations?

Anyone ever seen a suitable cutlass type sword that I can get away with using for melee (only have a real one at the moment and no idea why but the marshalls strongly object to it)

And is it acceptable to be sh*tfaced on rum at games?

Grab an AK with an underfolding stock, hawian shirt, old life vest and some ripped up shorts. Hold said AK above your head and let out occasional bursts of automatic fire. Go what I like to call 'Full somali' and it'll be a much more realistic pirate loadout than some flintlocks

Plus, a lot easier to source the parts to make the loadout.

Paget carbine looks quite cool. I am guessing its based on a pump action shotgun with the cocking system connected to the ram rod.

I would be tempted to try and make a moscart launcher Blunderbuss

good luck finding a larp sword for £30 these days, average price is closer to £60 but you can still find lower prices out there.
