Help with sons xmas gun please..bulldog

sounds like you need to fill it with more BB'S , with a hicap mag you wont ever empty it 100%, the feed tube will still contain bb's , to empty that feed tube you turn the gun upside down, which you dont do , at that point you fill the mag back up as its technically empty..

just goodled this gun to see just what mag you get out of the box, and it looks like you dont get a high cap mag as standard, just a mid cap one so there won't be a winder to wind.

let us know if you bought an extra mag or not.

can you post a pic of the top of the mag as well?

lol - just beat me to it

most starter guns you normally get a hi cap with winding wheel

hence we saying just bloody wind it as it is a common mistake not to wind or keep winding

a few guns - this SRC being one of them comes with a 45rnd low/real cap

other SRC's come with 400 rnd high caps like this:

https://www.justbbguns.co.uk/product/2-tone-airsoft-guns/2-tone-aeg-rifles/4072/src-pro-ak47-airsoft-gun-orange

JBBG are $hite I'm afraid especially no bloomin' manual for newcomers - i'd made sure one was in there

you may need to get either a hi cap or a speed loader to use the existing mag

wtf a 45 rnd mag I'll never know but no loader - even a few quid cheapo one

So it seems like you probably got a 45 rnd mag so forget all the winding posts I made

now you will need a speed loader:

bit of a bummer - jeez they could of shoved in a cheapo few quid one like pic (90rnds or so for pistols/sniper)

or you buy a higher capacity loader like this:

HT-BIM-6-lg.jpg

or you can buy a hi cap mag with wheel:

though it "should be compatible" but this is not always the case

Now if you can force the bb's into the low cap one by one - bit tricky but can be done - very tedious

is there a tube/rod - had something like that to fill a crappy spring famas

very crude but did work - avoid famas springer - the tube/rod is about the only good thing left working on that

I ask where abouts are you - reason being you might want to take gun with you to a local shop for a new mag

most mags do work ok - some ak mags might need a tiny bit of modding on certain guns/mags

this is not always the case - but on occasions some ak's may not fit or click into place on every gun

hence me asking where you are based - you could try a store or even a local site with a shop

bring gun - test mag fits etc - or you buy a loader or take a chance and buy mag online

bummer - but you should be able to force in a dozen or so bb's to test the gun out

you need at least 6 - maybe a dozen coz at least the last 3 or 4 bb's will not feed

yeah you should be able to jam some bb's in there for a few shots - PITA but should get a play with it

Guys - the poor OP is up Warickshire cv9 way

So that is way out of my neck of the woods & not too sure what is around there

So if anybody knows off the top of their head a local site/shop or offer more help local to OP that would make OP's Xmas

What speed loader again your post disapeerd?
it is still there - might be your browser - F5 or refresh or try another browser/device

but the 2 x loaders & hi cap mag pic should still be there - I've updated but not deleted any pics

hold up a sec, no point rushing to buy owt just yet coz nothing is open or no post

lets see if anybody can assist with something a bit more local to you perhaps

(soz gotta get off the net now coz family are getting the hump - gotta start a war or monopoly as its often called)

I'll pop back later, try n jam say a dozen bb's in at the top and it might be ok to test fire (safety first ffs not indoors)

hopefully some locals might be able to help or point you in right direction

gotta dash coz I'm getting filthy grumpy looks I'm not joining in with all this festive crap - soz

Tokyo Marui Pistol speedloader is the best one. So cheap too.

Thanks for this thread SD, I got my first hi-cap 1 month ago and I've not been able to get it to feed more than 5bbs without rewinding, I had no idea I needed to wind it until it wouldnt wind anymore, I even emailed PB about it and they just said "you wind the wheel at the bottom".
