Most recommended BB's?

+1 for blasters

I also use monkey balls, and I have used Proballs in the past

Had no issues with them

I have used 0.4's and 0.43 rockets, they swelled :(

Apparently NUPROL are bringing out a new range of bbs that will be better.

Can't see many people trusting them after the last fiasco though.
Their initial BBs were amazing, some of the most consistent 0.28s I have seen and my Tar 21 loved them. I had 2 amazing bottles of them and then the third was awful accuracy, they weren't bad enough to jam but the accuracy was pretty poor. Also had 2 bottles of 0.20's at the same time and they were failing to feed and generally being a disaster, but again the early bottle I had was great.

So the story with Nuprol like so many of those BB manufacturers is great to begin with then they hit volume and started filling the shelves with rubbish presumably made somewhere else.

I am wondering what happens to Geoff's in the longer term if their 0.20-0.28s prove to be excellent, will they start shipping junk once the volume ramps up or allow their ammo to be out of stock everywhere?

I don't know how well received they are on here, but I have great results with the ZeroOne branded 0.25 BBs.

Fly really straight for me as opposed to the blasters I used from my brothers stash.
I'm not too keen on them myself. I've tried a few 5k bags from them and have had a few of them split and come out in pieces as they were fired. Granted it's only a few out of a few thousand but that means it'll probably happen at least once per game day.

Quite shocked to hear that! People at my local site use them in their PTW's / GBBR's. That really sucks if Excel have dropped the ball like Nuprol did.

It's only on the excel bbs I am having feed issues getting two at a time coming through and sometimes none. But the amoeba .25s I had were fantastic in it.

Had quite a few shatter too. And my g3 is only putting out 260 marui always lower powered I was told.

had a good experience with blaster devils, asg and rocket premiums for .3, also rocket .4 - anyone had any experience with the p&j .3 from taiwan gun, their .4 were too big?

Rockets above .3s are to be avoided - hygroscopic for certain. Look to Geoffs for above .30s as they're making basically the best/most consistent money can buy in the EU right now and are easy to get a hold of.

That sounds more like a hop up issue than a bb issue. All bbs will shatter on a hard surface if they hit it hard enough.

I use a big cardboard box as backing to shoot at. A couple popped on the box. I'm gonna pick up new bucking tomorrow incase it could be causing issues it's standard black one that's on it at moment.

After going back into my gear box and wrapping the nozzle in Teflon tape as well as the bucking the bbs are now feeding much better so ignore my comments about the bbs. ImTriggerHappy thanks for your tip it got me to the fault location. And turned out to be air leakage.

I'm going to be giving the ASG cursed .25's a try this weekend. See how they hold up.

I have used blasters, rockets, pro ball, geoffs and g&g and I have never really had any issues with any of them.

Only bb I had problems with was a bag of bio bb's from a leading gun shop which caused more jams and misfeeding regardless of the hire gun I had(tm ak47).

I know it's a while ago, but what did you think of the ASG BBs?

Anyone else also used Nuprol lately?

Still recommending Geoffs. Been using nothing but for about 6 months now and I've found them quite excellent. Their heavier weights are highly consistent as well.

The asg were absolutely fine. Never had any issue with them feeding or flying true.

Same cannot not be said for the Valken bb's. They were utter poop

Thanks for the update.

I bought some nuprol 0.2 BBs other day, seem good so far but my gun isn't too good to use them (it's quite old). I have an SRC M4 on the way so I'll see how they do it that
