so any of you into the Archery bit?

i have used an Actual bow an arrow 5 times now and love it for sure

I've used a bow about 3 or 4 times. I've considered buying one a lot of times, you can get a standard bow with a 40Ilb draw weight for about £50, the only thing that put me off what that arrows cost a bomb, they're about £5 each! I know they can be reused and everything, but if you miss the target and hit a wall or something, then the arrow's going to snap...

Plus, I always really wanted a compound bow with all those crazy pulley cables on them to make they crazy mad powerful, but I reckon they're more expensive than guns lol.

lol nah I Want A Recurve bow i feel their more awesome besides easier to maintain!

Some of the guys I reenact with do the longbow. We had a comp against some Medieval guys and only just lost out

Finally! :D

I'm my clubs recurve barebow champion in the U18's category. Held that title since March 2011 despite three challengers. Yes, I am very much into archery ;)

Had a go a few times, I'm alright, nothing to really remark about.

I intend to have a go once I'm in the forces if they have a club wherever I'm based.

I just thought...

I used to do archery... But then guess what happened?

You got slapped in the face by a penis?

No. I stopped 'cos it hurts your fingers after a bit.

You butt hole.

If this forum wasn't PG13, you'd have just given me the most lovely opportunity ever :P

My local site has an archery range.... never had a go though because I can't shoot anyone with it

Lol, Hereford county champ, and the club champ. Great sport (recurve)

And I am going to national champs in December

Although my chances of winning are low lol
