What colour/camo should I paint my M4

on the halford website its £7 and krylon is £6.50 to £7

Krylon = £6.50-£7.00 + £6.00-£7.00 delivery (seems to be standard for most airsoft websites).

Halfords = £7.00 + time and maybe petrol to get to shop.

so with petrol will be about the same, if I go into town I'll see if i can pick some up if not will just order some krylon.

so I'm going to spray my hanguard, stock, foregrip and sight if i get one.

I'm going for a karki base then sponge on some olive, brown and maybe another green

Check Halfords online "reserve and collect" first. Not all Halfords sell the camo paints, only the larger stores. You'll waste the time and money getting to your local store only to find they don't stock it. Neither of the ones near me had it, I had to go to Milton Keynes but luckily I was there for work so no extra cost. I still prefer Krylon to be honest :)

cheers, I'm sure the one in reading will have some but I'll probs just get some krylon as I don't need a lot

haha, I think i need some good stuff :)

apparently taking the grip off is very complex?

It's not complex.

There should be three screws on the bottom, take the edge two out, then remove the bottom plate.

Then disconnect the motor wires, which are usually just push-on connections (although my G&P has screw on ones - make sure you do it with the gun the right way up or with magnetic screw driver - dropping a screw in your motor is the most annoying thing in the world to get out). Then remove the motor carefully.

Then there are two screws in the top of the grip that screw into the bottom of the gearbox, undo these - making sure they don't fall into the gearbox.

Gently pull the pistol grip away from the receiver, being careful not to pull or catch the two wires as you do so.

To re-assemble, do the reverse.

okay well I think I'll spray it attached to the gun then :)

would it be easy to pop a magpul grip on

To pop a Magpul grip on, you do exactly the same as I said above, but when re-assembling, you put the Magpul grip on instead..

haha cheers, do you know if magpul handguards fit ics?

well i'll call up my shop tomorrow,

my m4s in the shop atm so when i get it back i'll start the paint job :)

might do my shotgun if i have any spray paint left :D

yea I'll make a video and pictures :)

will try firstly on some plastic or a cheap springer, then do the stock, grip. magazines and sight (if i have one) on my gun then do the video of the hnaguard :D sound good :)

Will also be a-tacsing up my shotgun :D
