Load-Out / Loadout Picture topic

Good enough reason to buy some 30rnd mag pouches.

Yeah, but they're not period-correct. The only reason for this kit is for Vietnam games, so if I can be period correct, I will be.

My more modern LBE uses double .308 mag pouches, which hold 2x .308 mags or 3x ar-15 mags. I don't think I'd do an ALICE belt setup, purely because I've got my m56 webbing for old style, and a molle system built off a Warrior Assault Systems PLB belt + harness for a more modern style LBE.

Off for a game tomorrow and decided to cobble together an irregular/militia kit. Think the mix of Russian camos and a fila jacket has achieved reasonable levels of gopnik. Krink with the stendo mag adds ten points to practicality of course.

I give it a solid 8/10. You lose points for not slav-squatting for the picture, comrade.

(Looks good though!)

Cheers mate! I couldn't find an Adidas jacket unfortunately so I didn't think I'd earned the right to the slav squat just yet.

I realised with the rubber taco style pouches you can turn the straps 90° and attach them to molle sideways. It means I can nest them under my arm while keeping them easy to reach. With an extra one on my belt it means I'm running the same number of mags but now there's nothing on the front of my PC getting in the way when I go prone.

I like to keep things flexible so I've put this together as a base kit that I can add to depending on what I'm using or where I'm playing. 4 mag pouches are  mounted two sideways under my arm and two more on the belt for easy access while keeping the front of the PC clear to make it easier to go prone. If the need arises I can swap the front panel for a triple flap pouch and carry up to 10 total. Or if I'm running an smg I can put the panel with 4 smg mags on the front. I have two large general purpose pouches for carrying tools, speed loaders and gas and some extra pouches on my back for things that I don't need mid game. Pistol and one spare mag as that's the most I've ever needed.

Cheap Webtex Assault vest with a bit of modding.

The Mag flaps have been taken off 4 of the mag pouches and retention inserts added. The remaining 2 pouches I'll use as utility pouches.

I couldn't find a decent spot to mount the PTT due to the small pouches on the chest, so decided to remove both chest pouch flaps (Both Pouches were pointless IMHO), kept the right as a Velcro panel and added a homemade panel on the left with2 rows of molle allowing for the PTT to be mounted in the right spot.

Viper molle belt for pistol holster, mags, Dump Pouch and you have yourself a Cheap, cheerful, practical, individual loadout.

I neither confirm nor deny anything
Are you sure that you can confirm that ?

So the Mrs was out and I was bored so I decided to do a little dress up for the camera. Not the best picture but sod it
My team mates don’t need the Mrs to go out for that …… which reminds me of the head cam CQB room clearance footage we received on the team chat as he worked his way through the house tracking down his tango, and the look of disdain on her face when he found her sat on the sofa watching her soap

Been running civvie kits all summer, but now that the leaves are falling and sight lines will open up a little, even if Worthing is still difficult to snipe at in winter with all the twiggy bits, I feel like it may be time to return to the LRRP setups. Worn with m81 (freedom and apple pie, babyyyyyyy 🦅 🦅), this is the current setup I'm going with. Will generally wear the boonie and stash the viper hood and cap in the bag as an "if I need it" kind of thing. Will also carry scrim net for the rifle to break up the solid black colour and using elastic bands to secure it allows me to add some natural vegetation as well. I'm not painting that beautiful piece of airsoft history and while I have a ghillie rifle wrap, I like taking the real-steel approach of "do not use any camo that impedes the workings of the rifle" which ghillie wraps very much tend to do; the number of times the ghillie material flaps up in front of the scope while I'm trying to aim I swear to God...

Repro invisio earpiece, cam cream, rangefinder, compass, elastic bands/hair ties and binos also in the kit, but not included in the picture because I forgot. Also carry BBs, gas, another canteen of water and sometimes some snacks in the backpack as well, often using it as a rifle rest instead of the bipod once I get into a spot.

I also might remove the right-side pistol mag pouch and leave it empty, as it resides just above the pistol when the holster is attached to my trouser belt. Quick-draw pistol access isn't needed for this type of kit, and I feel like having the extra magazines might be more worth it, but I need to see in game how it feels. The pistol does clear the kit fairly easily, but it's ever so slightly in the way. The pistol also changes depending on my mood between the HK45, 1911, p226, hi-capa, AAP-01 and mk23, but at the moment I'm feeling the immersive suppressed .45 (it's a subsonic round, so a suppressor actually works decently well on the real thing, and I prefer the GBB HK45 over the NBB mk23, especially for sniping)

Backup rifle tends to be my 16" SRS as it's small, light and easy to pack and bring to a game day. I never plan on using it, but it's good to have a reliable backup that I can just throw in without worrying about having to tune it for the weather like I do with the m24. However, this kit can do all of my MWSs as well (those double .308 mag pouches fit 3x MWS mags nicely) so it basically covers all of the rifles that I use between my m700s and MWSs, plus my backup SRS and MTW, and hopefully next year will include a GBBR m21 build.
