Ive managed to screw my YT algorithms so much that I’m now getting suggested Japanese & Korean channels with some pretty good information, but lacking in subtitles.

This channel does some good suggested mods to run on Co2 ?

Not that I think I would, but near the end he has an adaptor plate to allow different reflex optics.

Plus, he has subtitles?

It’s definitely snappier than my gen3

I only got mine delivered yesterday afternoon, and noticed the paint on the mag is scuffing quite a lot (not that it’s important)

But that’s only about 20 to 30 mag entry & releases 

I do like the faux steel coloured slide

And removed the lanyard loop, and swapped to a back strap more in size for me

Overall, I like it

Having had a quick shoot with this back to back against the Gen 4, everything just feels a little tighter on the 5th Gen. How much of that is down to it being brand new is a fair question, but the 4th Gen has only been gamed about 5 or 6 times. Trigger feels better, racking is more positive. Blowback feels different but it's hard to put my finger on exactly how. It feels slightly stronger but like the slide doesn't travel as far (which clearly can't be the case, but...).

The grey slight two tone effect looks good as does the curvature of the front end. The mags also have a baseplate that is more rounded and have returned to having the gas nozzle covered by the baseplate rather than exposed. The inside of the front outer barrel has more visible rifling too. My Surefire x300 is a lot tighter fit so perhaps very slight dimensional changes, but it all still fits in the holster fine. Looking forward to an improvement in the weather and a chance to use it in game.

What's the deal with the sights? Do they require different slide, or are they a drop in fit on the stock gun? Link?

 
I was in my local shop yesterday planning on picking up a Hi-Capa 4.3. I didn't know they even had these in stock, but as they did I took advantage and picked one up.

Because of the ambi slide release, it doesn't actually fit in my Gen4 holster. Does anyone have a link to a Gen5 left-handed holster?

what type of holster do you need ? Light bearing ? Belt type ? Drop ? 
 

fits my Safariland fine , but not a cheap option .

 
A belt type which accommodates the RMR (I'm being boring and using a TM Micro Pro Sight) would be ideal.

*It doesn't need to be light bearing.

That’s the holster I am currently using, nice that the “grip” of it can be adjusted using the two screws, I shimmed mine with a couple of small washers as in standard set up it was just not letting go! ?

Those supressor sights looks nice, are they tritium or glow in the dark buddy?

How are they for co witness with your red dot?

(quite fancy a set myself now)

 
That Gen 5 GHK steel Glock never turned up, was supposed to be March last year. Shame.

Because Umarex decided they didn't want it. They are releasing it this year with an aluminium slide and the steel slide will be available seperately. It's because Umarex wanted a lower price point

Seems rather pointless, they did an alu slide version of the Gen 3, don’t know anyone who bought it, around £260 I think.
