3 round burst then stop

Hello! 
 

bit of a weird one, I have a M4 45 PISTOL - S CLASS - S and it shoots in 3 round burst on semi and auto 4 times then won’t shoot again until I put the lipo back in, any ideas?

I'm guessing this is Ares?

If so, it's an error with the EFCS.

I don't know of anyway to fix it besides buying a new one unfortunately.

If it is indeed a gun with the ARES EFCS
that's usually because it's not reading the magnet in the sector gear
so it shuts down for "safety"

need to open gun and check what's up
could be as simple as realign the sector gear
or replace

or at worst, mosfet needs replacing cos it's gone doowally
