Load-Out / Loadout Picture topic

HSP Flatpack arrived today which sees my PC finished. Been looking at the options available for carrying hydration and a can or 2 of gas as my GBBR usage increases. Having tried out the Ferro hydration pouch and the flatpack, the flatpack wins out purely because it’s more versatile (though the Ferro one is lovely).

Not a full loadout (imagine the usual black PJs for VC shenanigans), but I just put together my "ghillie" for Operation Boogaloo in two weeks time; VSR is similarly wrapped in a bunch of scrim net too Will attach an abundance of natural foliage on the day and be a haunted bush hunting GIs all day. Well, that and civvie recon, walking around with no military gear and having a bit of RP fun ("you shot my cow! You pay for cow, GI!") Going to make a point to not know about any objectives so if I get captured I can't tell them anything, because with how annoying I'm going to be I reckon it'll happen at some point.

Going to be good escape and evasion practice, as it looks like we may be outnumbered something like 4 to 1. Last Vietnam game I went to had some fantastic escape and evasion action, so I have my hopes up. Goal is to get hit and/or captured as little as possible :D

Shooter belt finally done with the arrival of the Kydex Customs BFG holder. That is a lot of kydex on one belt ?

Happy with the placement where the left is clear for the rifle to dangle and I can dump an empty rifle mag and pick up a fresh one as my right hand moves back round. Pistol reloads I am less worried about as it is a back up and one of the pistol pouches usually has a speedloader in to top-off the MWS magazines during a game…love the gas efficiency.

Standard load-out today, but added the battle belt which worked really well!

It was nice to be able to quickly draw a spare magazine from the belt in the middle of a firefight. However.. must remember to put them in the right way up so I don’t try and load them upside down ?View attachment 91872

Generic jeans and checked shirt from CQB a couple of weekends ago, this was the last hurrah for the MWS. Running a long boi when half the field is HPA Hicapas with AR mag adapters was certainly an experience, was a big  ‘I guess times are definitely changing’ moment for me.

Okay how much did that all cost ?

I've never really sat and added it up, bits are from various places across the globe and gradually built up/swapping in and out over time. Prices have definitely gone up on a portion of the pieces since I got them., it's probably comfortably creeping toward the 4 figure mark... including the training plates which sit in I imagine it's already there.
