For sale here is a work in progress project that I do not have much time for at the moment. This began as a M16A2 and has now (mostly) been converted to an A4.

The rifle in the first photo is the M16A4 configuration that is is assembled with the following:
- VFC M16A2 Gen 3 Lower Receiver
- VFC M4 Flat Top Upper
- DNA VFC M16A2 20" Steel Outer Barrel
- DNA M16A2 Steel Delta Ring
- DNA M16A2 Front Sight Sling Loop
- MadDog M5 RAS Repro & Various KAC-style Rib Panels
- 4UANTUM Magnus Pro HOP-UP Chamber
- 4UANTUM Friction Pro GBB Spec
- Unicorn 6.03mm 450mm GBB Inner Barrel
- Clutch Precision VFC GBB Steel Outer Barrel Extension Chamber
**The M5 RAS fits perfectly into the triangle handguard cap it came with but not into the DNA triangle handguard cap. The OEM M16A2 handguards with perfectly with either. Also, the plastic parts that would cover the outer barrel has fallen off and wandered away and thus there is a unusual gap in the handguards there.
**The front sight post is the OEM VFC M16A2 which has a slight wobble when pinned to the DNA outer barrel, but this is only noticeable when moving the sight with force. I imagine this would be remedied with a DNA front sight post, but I am still waiting tor it to arrive.
**The birdcage flash hider only works with the original outer barrel and a DNA replacement is required for the DNA barrel.
**The rifle seems to have consistent issues locking back on empty. I have done some investigating and think the magazine lever may not be strong enough to engage the bolt. However, replacing the bolt with a steel one may remedy this issue.
The VFC M16A2 Upper Receiver works perfectly and has the OEM outer barrel, inner barrel, HOP chamber and unit, outer barrel extension, and the bolt & charging handle with are interchangeable with the M4 upper receiver. The main issue is that the delta ring is badly damaged due to an unsuccessful, grueling attempt to unscrew the barrel nut. I am confident that someone with more time and tools than me can get it off!
All considered, the project has been incredibly fun and rewarding, but I unfortunately will not be able to complete it and would rather it live with someone who can!
Ideally I would like to trade for a VFC HK416D Gen 3 GBBR but am happy to consider offers. I am in no rush to sell, and please note any monetary transactions will take place via Paypal Goods & Services
