Many Vector Optics reflex red dot sights come with a bottom battery compartment, and this includes Vector Optics Frenzy. The buttons flush together with the housing. The battery lasts 20.000 hours at the weakest visible intensity setting, which is setting 3.
The red dot comes with a fixed mount for the Picatinny platform, and there is the Trijicon RMR footprint underneath. It is made of 6061 T-6 aluminium alloy, which makes it easier to hold. Without the adapter, it weighs 29 grams. The open compact reflex red dot sight is also waterproof, shock-proof, and fog-proof.
This AUT (automatic dot intensity) model is equipped with a light sensor. The user has the option of switching from manual to automatic mode, in which the brightness of the dot is adjusted automatically based on the ambient light.
