Afternoon,
Got a real gem on sale here, the Real Sword Type 97B. I’ve done quite a bit of work on it as follows:
-Rewired to Gate PicoAAB 3rd gen
-Deans connector in the grip and micro fuse integrated
-5KU M4 ambi mag release machined to fit
-Trigger bar shimmed to reduce travel
-Selector switch modified for a more reliable click
-Internal space of grip expanded to fit slim 11.1v lipo batteries
With the MOSFET and the 11.1v battery it is way snappier and faster than stock which this RIF is notorious for, and access to the battery from the grip makes it super easy to swap out without opening the gun! I can confirm a Rebel 11.1v 1150 mah 20c battery fits with room to spare:
The Ambi mag release makes mag changes a breeze and now accepts all my mid caps I’ve tried (another thing the type 97 was notorious for)
I got 3 genuine RS steel mid cap mags to go with it (original mag release and button as well) it pains me to see it go so I’m hoping it’ll go to a good home.
Asking £650 inc. insured postage any questions shoot me a message (battery not included)
