I've got a Cyma M14 socom coming and just want to know which BB's are best suited and recommended?

I'm guessing .28 or .32 but are there new ammo brands I should be aware of? I've seen Geoff's bio ammo and tempted to try them but don't want to buy any crap.

Do I just stick to ASG devil blasters?

Unless I'm indoors, in only ever shoot .28 and up. However the M14 is the only exception to this- I get much better range with .25s, even though with a Maple Leaf bucking in it, it lifts heavier. I'm guessing it's air volume isn't enough for heavy BBs in the long inner barrel.

Do you think that would differ in the shorter socom model?

I've got the cyma socom, it's stock & even on .20's the range & accuracy has been excellent,  & not fussy with brands.

I suggest you wait till it arrives & test it with whatever you've already got before buying a load more.

Assuming you're sticking to below 1.13j and not turning it into a DMR I'd say you're about right with .28 - .32g but unfortunately the only way to be sure is to give it a go. Try using whatever ammo you already have and go from there, you might find they work fine
