Morning all, 

I started up Airsoft on the recommendation of a friend at work. Leading up to the first game I was so excited to play and couldn’t wait to get my hands on a gun and get on the field. Being someone who has been in the military I didn’t know how I would feel playing soldiers but it was such a good laugh I decided to carry on and make it into a hobby. I’m going to share with you all my equipment and in the future some gameplay videos once I have a set up of my own! I live in Staffordshire and my local site I have been attending is Combat Ready Airsoft in Burton.

Welcome and glad to hear you're so enthusiastic!

If you're playing at Burton currently and that's local(ish) for you then you should definitely look into NPF's airsoft days who are about 15-20 mins south on the A38 at Bassetts Pole.

If Combat Ready is run by the same people who ran the one in Derby centre (Joe?) then I guarantee you're having about 10% of the enjoyment you would at another site.

Thanks mate. I will be looking into local sites in the next month or so just to mix it up. Didn’t want to go crazy yet as I was pretty new so tried to keep it low key with a smaller bunch to fully understand game rules and how the weapons work etc. More than happy to take your recommendation though as NPF is like 10 mins from me ?
