It's winter, which is project time.

I have, on the go a Welrod build, which will have its own thread, and going to attempt a volcanic pistol. One of the larger 44 caliber ones.

So, I've got an A&K Winchester 1892 Randall now lying around.

I've been wondering what to do with it and this idea popped into my head.

Essentially, it'll involve modifying the lever, the grip (either use a pair of denix schofield grips or make my own) and a couple of metal plates.

More pictures tomorrow.

i am pretty sure there is a denix volcanic available could be a better start to gut one of those?

Denix build quality is terrible. I've had a fiddle with the 1892 and it's more trouble than it's worth.

Wouldn't be improving anything and it looks decent enough as is.

Wouldn't really be any different to how it is now so just moving to the welrod.
