umarex 416 upgrade hop up

I have a umarex 416 D and at the moment it has all standard parts except for a 6.03 mad bull barrel I was wondering what would be the best choice of hop up unit to improve the performance of the gun.

What is the issue with it? Presumably something is going wrong that makes you think the hop unit itself is at fault for what is happening?

no nothing really wrong i was just looking at upgrading the hop-up to get a little bit of extra performance out of the gun

Remove hopup and barrel, take it apart, and clean it with warm soapy water, then reassemble it.

If there is visible damage on the rubber, change it.

If it has a 1 piece hopup, you will get much more consistency if you glue a rubber spacer between the hopup and the body.
