TM p226 Mags

When you say they didn't fit, what was wrong with them exactly?

I used to have an old 226, and didn't have any issues using the old or E2 mags.

The shape of them must have been different as they were very tight in the magwell and also didn't go all the way in. In addition the gas release value sat at a complete different height.

Sadly I have taken them back now so didn't get a side by side comparison. The chap at the shop said I need the other one not the E2. But couldn't guide me any further

 
Yeah, I have a TM p226e2 and my mags don't look like yours. The TM ones don't have pins in the bottom, they have a screw in the baseplate (far better design, why did they go back to pins in their newer pistols?!), and the TM ones say "made in Japan" on one side. I don't know if the e2 mags work in the older p226, but I do know the mags you have aren't TM ones :P

The rear of that magazine looks different to the ones I remember having; there was no detail or markings one them, from what I recall.

Can you post up some photos of your 226?

Both sides, and also ones with the top & bottom separated, and of the hop & barrel unit.

I don't think that is a TM.

TM would say ASGK and Tokyo Marui on it somewhere.

I think it might be a Kwa, which would explain the mags!

How does the hop up adjust on yours?

No idea mate. The mag it came with "its air tight" . Leaked immediately. Soo haven't been able to field it. Only just found the time to look back into it now 

After looking at the KWA mags. I think you right. I will see if I can find somewhere. They seem to be sold out mostly
