I would really love to own a Sten, but I'm stuck.
I mostly play cqb at an indoor arena.
If I got the Sten I'd want to use it, but I cant find out if it can be fired semi auto or not.
Ive browsed the web and can only find conflicting info on if it can or not.
Any advice, tips, clues, would help.

My local Airsoft shop (Patrolbase) has the ASG Sten MK2

im pretty sure there dont have any type of selector so its full auto only. i cant see how you would lock it off without a selector or possibly a mosfet

Very simple gun. I believe the ASG one has no fire selector or safety. Full auto only.

Looking bad :/
I have very basic wiring skills, so modding might be out of my ability's.
I might have to face not buying it.
No point if I cant use it sadly :/

you could go for a PPSH or an SR-3M when Zeta Labs start mass producing it. You could always go for a grease gun or a KEDR if they exist in the airsoft world

was after the sten tbh.
would have been nice :)
I have my m4, I'll sit with that for now :)

since the real sten was (is) selective fire... why would the airsoft version not be? especially since the real mp40 is full auto only and most airsoft version I've seen are selective....

also I've seen someone play with a sten in a cqb (looked a bit odd, as it was bright orange with a tactical torch)
