Hey, I'm not elegiable for UKARA yet, so I'm stuck with two-tone for a couple of years *bangs head* . Anyway... I've got these two M4's I'm currently looking at possibly buying, not sure which one to go for as I'm not really sure what the difference is aue to them both being made by SRC and both being SR4 models, apart from the obvious difference in construction of the receiver and the colour, is there anymore? Here's the two links:

Could you just point out to me if you know of any other magor differences, or any other differences besides the once I've already said.

THANKS. :)

the SRC may be tempting but it doesnt come with battery or charger (IIRC) and its orange :P get something green or blue or clear as orange not only looks ugly but stands out a mile in the field...

What kinda skirmish sites do you go to or gonna go too? as you may wanna look at an MP5 or G36 if its CQB but if you want and M4 you can always get a CQB one

If you want a good M4 have a look through these:

There all meant to be good starter guns, i own the GR16 (the last) and its awesome, the only problem is that it is quite picky with its magazines (hard to find magazines that feed correctly, if your willing to spend £20 a mag get G&G ones, i have yet to find any others that feed, if i do i will tell you)

I hope this help, you can check out my website: www.freeairsofthelper.yolasite.com and look in the guide section for my begginer guide if its any help.

Thanks,

Mitchell

well as far as i am aware... the COUGH uglyorangeone COUGH is full metal, whereas the awesomelookingcoolmachineofdisgustingarmalite in green is plastic :) but Mad Hatter up there said everything else!

on the G&G the only parts that are plastic are the Reciever handguard and stock all the rest is steel on the other hand you could get the G&G GR15 which is a CQB version of the GR16 and has a RIS system on it (Rails on the handguard)

And Zak, are you dissin armalites? oooo u gonna regret that...

Only!?

I like SRC- a lot is go for that. And the g&g is plastic and has a stupid front sight that can't come of

and have anogher orange gun out there? if u get an SRC try and get it green or whatever... orange stands out a mile

Yes but u can get the srcc in other colours...... anyway people with orange guns make good distractions

Or you could blind the enemy with your bright gun :P

Yeah I was looking at ICS M4's actually to. Have you had any experience with them before? Cons pro's? If I was to get the SRC SR4 though in orange I'de definately buy a new stock, handguard etc for it so it doesn't stand out. I play at Gunman Airsoft, Tuddenham. It's mostly woodland warfare, but has a village which is kinda like CQB with the buildings and all.

Thanks for the help, helped a lot, are probs get an ICS with the retractable stock, would it be worth upgrading anything? My mate has the GR-16 and has had problems with mags to.

This is the same SRC SR4 but in clear with a plastic receiver and comes with battery and charger, if I were to get this, would you recommend me upgrading it with a metal receiver?

the ics m4 is brilliant, plastic or metal the internals are th same- unlike most sportline guns

the only con for ics guns is the parts compatibility, they only ttake ICS parts without modification.

i always reccomend metal guns over plastic just for the feel but its up to you, the performance will eb the same
