Screeching noise

My gun just makes a horrible screeching noise, I have adjusted the screw on the motor plate and removed the shims. What could it be?

I did try adjusting the motor height but it still does it

When you say you've removed the shims do you mean the one at the base of the motor in the pistol grip, or from the gearbox?

At first it jammed and the piston locked back, I thought I had shimmed it too tight and so I removed the shims from the gearbox and when I test it now, it just screeches/squeals

I did try adjusting the motor height but it still does it

It seems that fine adjustments are not my thing and it was the motor height, just needs half turns at a time instead of 2 or 3.
