Replacment barrel threads?

A little while ago I broke the flash hider with the threads inside clean off my gun.  Its an S an T g36. I thought to my self no worries get a new barrel for it but no, long story short, the bits  I need to fix it are proprietary to S and T. and they don't have it in stock. So my question is are there any options to get it looking all nice and Germanic again. It doesn't effect how it works it just looks a bit strange with out it there. Nick.

 
Can you get a complete outer barrel to swap out instead? Pics of the end of the barrel(receiver side) could help us find a suitable replacement.

 
I was chatting to one of the guys on here who had the same problem. Most of the major one's  need some grinding down and my skills with a dremmel are limited to say the least. How ever I will take some photos a bit later on just in case. Cheers
