Hey im new to the forums and airsoft and am needing some help understanding the UK laws.

I have been very interested in airsoft for a while now and have now got my first airsoft rifle. I havent yet gone to any venues or competitions but, i am going to the next skirmish at my local centre.

however back to the point, i want to buy a new airsoft rifle; the Dboy Scar but it is fully black (not two tone). i was wondering, is it legal for me to own this airsoft rifle (it being black) also would i be able to take it to my local venue?

i would be very appreciative if someone could give me feed back

thank you

No you cannot buy a black (RIF) gun untill you are UKARA registered. To be come registered you must play at the same site 3 times in no less than 2 months.

I wouldn't worry about getting a 2nd gun already if you haven't even skirmished the first.

Hope this helps :)

I agree with devastator about using your first gun before getting a new one. You should go to the skirmish you mentioned and first see if you actually enjoy it and if the site is a good one.
