So I was browsing e-bay a few minutes ago, and I came across some offset RIS iron sights, which is an idea I have always LOVED in terms of real weaponry, and with me starting work on my M4 again, I was considering spilling the £40 for them (plus whatever a gas block would cost), but that got me thinking.
Will I ever, on an AEG, realistically need to use offset iron sights if I've got a red-dot?
I don't think so, provided it isn't magnifying, and being as this is a mid-rage AEG (standard internals, tuned for accuracy and not range), I won't need zoom at all, so standard flip-up iron sights should be enough, especially with a PEQ in the mix as well, oui?
My logic is good...I think...
CONVINCE ME I'M WRONG AFUK.
