As per the title, I'm after a new bag to store and transport my gun in.  It's not a field I'm versed in at all having used a pelican case for the last 5 years or so, but I gave that to the guy I sold my PTW to.

I want something big enough to hold a CQBR (about 28" overall length) which doesn't do anything else.  I don't need it to carry 2 guns, or be big enough to carry a 50" sniper rifle.  Or be covered in molle/pouches.

Just a padded zip up rectangle with some Velcro straps inside to stop the gun moving around.

The first-spear CAT (http://www.first-spear.com/product.php?productid=18017) is basically everything I want, but it's nearly half the cost of the gun... which is stupid even for me.

Anyone got any suggestions for something reasonably priced?

NCStar VISM Discreet rifle case http://www.zerooneairsoft.com/product_info.php?cPath=291_440&products_id=9035 is pretty popular for range use and is cheap (although UK supplier is Zero One...so there's that). Otherwise, as above really.

I've personally started using a TMC Double rifle bag and I've been pleasantly surprised at the quality for the price. I guess it all depends on how much use it'll get and if you really want "real steel" levels of quality or not.

Thanks guys, shame NCStar don't make that covert case in 30" flavour, would have been perfect!

Yeah, unfortunately it's designed to take a carbine split into upper and lower receivers, easy enough for real steel but kind of a pain for airsoft!
