Newbie question on Gas Pistols

Just got myself a gas blow back Baretta and this is my first ever airsoft gun let alone first gas one. Question is, how do I know when the gas in the magazine is full? Does it just spray back up out of the mag or is there a better way to tell?

The mechanics of it reminds me of filling up my old zippo with lighter fluid but atleast with that you could easily tell when it was full.

Any helps appreciated.

I tend to listen to the mag, once it stops hissing, or gets significantly quieter; I stop.

Usually you'll get gas blow out rather than going into the gun, but if you have a particularly good seal you might just hear it stop. That is about it really, its normally pretty easy to tell.
