hi im new to this and i am only really doing this for fun with some friends in their garden and i wondered if anyone knew if you could upgrade/modify a spring powered gun as i didn't plan on spending more than £50

if you are just playing with mates, I'd go for one of the cheapy DE AEG's, or something similar.

i decided to get an sm6 and it works well its accurate and strong enough but i wondered if you knew any cheap springs that would just add a little more

Honestly I wouldn't even think about upgrading them internally. They're decent enough for messing about in the back garden anyway. Make sure you have/get some eye protection.

ok thanks its just it loses the majority of its power after around 40-50 feet with 0.20gram bbs

The sm6 is terrible, get an m83a2.
