New Airsoft Hop Up Rubber

Is it me or is Tazz having Cold?

it look`s alright but an increase in Fps make`s me less likely to want it because i`m aiming to get no higher than 330 with as little air loss as i can lol

Increases range by 50m? I full on refuse to believe that is even close to the truth until I see it for myself.

It got me thinking though. What if there was a way to have the hop up follow the barrel for about an inch or something, but instead of it just running along the top edge of the barrel, it swirled around the full 360 degrees?

So there would still be backspin, but the backspin would cause the BB to twirl whilst back spinning... If anyone can imagine what I mean by that? So it's back spinning as normal, but it's also turning horizontally as well. So as it turns the backspin would keep it centred on a dead set perfectly straight line.

The back end of a gun's barrel would have to be redesigned and the hop wouldn't be adjustable, you'd probably have to buy a version of it specific to your barrel bore and your fps, with a variable of about 1 or 2 fps, but if it worked I bet it'd work well. It'd probably offer resistance against wind to some degree as well as against gravity and because it would sort of be like rifling, it would of course also increase accuracy.

The other possibility is that it would cause the BB to draw circles through the air as it travels, meaning it would be massively unpredictable at range... But I can hope.

I wonder if there's any way of testing it, or building a model without having an injection moulder or anything...

It seems like a gimick.

The best hop up in airsoft currently is the R-Hop or the Long Range Barrel in classic guns.

from initial reports, sounds okay but there range suggestion has to be complete rubbish.
