Need help !

Have a CYMA cm516 there's no long rail on the underside of the handguard

Just a really small attachment just underneath the end of the handguard

you can unscrew that and move it down, it wouldn't screw into the guard

right enough and it's at the point now where the plastic hole has gotten

too big so I can't screw it in to attach a foregrip, I did manage to fashion something but it didn't last long

Just want to know if there's a way to fix and get around it or what alternative handguards

can I get that will fit my rifle ?

I think the problem is that you bought a sub £100 primary. You really have limited yourself pretty much completely with that choice of gun. That is less of a beginner gun and more of a "backyard plinkster". I would honestly just sell it to some kid down the street for £50 and save up another hundred to buy something better. I, as well as most people, won't even know where to start with helping out using such a low quality heap of ****.

I would maybe workout the size of the screws on the rail and then drill a new hole into the handguard and attachment and turn the rail attachment around to face the opposite way and then screw it in. Essentially just turn it around and form a new screw-point.

Simple fix is just to super glue a nut behind the hole.

If that doesn't hold you can either tap and helicoil it or fit a Nutsert. If there is a sheet metal or engineering firm near you they could do either in a few minutes and would probably do it for a drink.

Thanks for the replies, that's what I get for being inpatient and wanting to get a cheap AR, lesson learnt I think I will use it for a few games and then move up the ladder see about a G&G, I've managed to fashion something to keep it in place.
