Marui FN 5-7 issue?

Hey guys,

I've been getting an issue with my 5-7 in the last skirmish, its stopped locking back when the mag is finished and it will just keep dry firing until its out of gas... anyone got any ideas what this is? I'm relatively new to this whole thing, so maintenance and fixing problems is a foreign language at the moment!

Probably just that.

give it a good strip down clean and it will probably work fine after

It might just be that you didn't put enough gas into it, so there wasn't enough left after having fired all the shots, to rack the slide backwards far enough to reach the catch.

I'm having the same problem. It has more than enough gas to lock back but carries on dry firing until it is out of gas. My FN 57 is greased and maintained perfectly. Someone help please!?

My issue was literally just needed a good clean and grease, mines worked perfectly since and I've just been cleaning and greasing etc after every skirmish..

Anyone thought to check the slide catch on the mag hasn't worn down/snapped? Thus no longer stopping the slide!
