Thought I’d share some info I’ve received from Mancraft PL.

So their new shiny red regulator now comes with a safety valve installed which safely allows the use of an HPA bottle. Now for people like myself who will only ever use it on CO2 this is an issue because with the valve installed you can’t have the regulator in a VSR stock and according to Mancraft this valve doesn’t come off. They’ve told me it’s been screwed on with Loctite and advised it would need to come up to 150 degrees before it would loosen off.

Given where it’s been installed I wouldn’t like to heat it up to get it off because it would more than likely heat up the airline valve and could possibly melt the plastic which grips the airline. Although you can put it into a stock pouch it would have been nice to have the choice between hiding it inside the stock or having it in a pouch.
